Spaces Between
In the in-between moments—before the explanation, after the breath—our bodies speak. Even in silence, your body holds a language of its own, one shaped by all you’ve felt, forgotten, and are still learning to remember.

there’s a place you go
when you’re not quite here
and not quite gone—
a space between moments,
between breaths,
between being and becoming
this is where movement lives
not just in gestures,
but in trembles,
in soft shifts,
in the way your spine curls when you’re not watching,
or how your chest rises when you finally exhale
movement holds memory—
of things you’ve said,
and the things you didn’t know how to say
it’s the archive of your emotions,
your lineage,
your longing
you do not need choreography to be expressive
you do not need to know the steps to begin
you only need to notice
what moves within you
when you stop trying to make sense of it all
because even stillness
has a rhythm
and even silence
has a pulse
and in that space between—
your body is listening
