Creativity Exists in You
Somewhere along the way, many of us were told a lie:
That creativity belongs to the few.
That it lives in galleries, on stages, in sketchbooks and song lyrics.
That it’s something you’re either born with or not.
But the truth?
Creativity exists in you.
It always has.
Even if it’s been quiet. Even if it’s been shamed. Even if life made you forget.

Rediscovering Creativity Through the Body
I found my creativity not through paint or poetry, but through yoga.
Through movement. Through breath. Through sensation.
It wasn’t about perfect poses or symmetrical shapes—it was about feeling.
About letting my body speak the language it had been holding in for years.
And that became my expression.
That became my art.
We often think creativity has to look a certain way.
But it doesn’t.
Creativity is how you let yourself move.
How you allow ideas to surface without needing to be polished.
It’s the way you express from the inside out—not for approval, but for release. For truth.

Creativity Is an Outlet, Not a Product
In a world that tries to monetise everything we make, creativity can start to feel like another performance. But it doesn’t have to be.
Your creativity doesn’t need to be shared, sold, or explained.
It can be messy. Private. Just for you.
Whether it’s dancing in your living room, scribbling in a journal, planting seeds in the soil, or rolling around on a yoga mat, creativity is your outlet.
A space where you can explore, experiment, and simply be.

Underneath Creative Expression Lies Compassion
To be creative is to say:
“I’m allowed to exist exactly as I am.”
And that requires compassion.
It’s not about perfection. It’s about permission.
Permission to be curious, to get it wrong, to be unpolished and beautifully human.
When you give yourself space to create, you’re offering yourself grace.
You’re softening the inner critic and choosing care over critique.
And the more compassion you offer yourself, the more compassion flows outward—to others, to the world.

You Are a Creative Being
You don’t need to wait for inspiration or expertise.
You already hold the raw materials within you: breath, sensation, memory, desire.
Let them move through you.
Let them shape your gestures, your voice, your rhythm.
Let them show you what creativity can look like when it’s lived, not just made.
Because creativity is not out there—it’s in you.
