Treacle Movement was born out of my own journey. At a time in my life, where I needed to support my mind, body & soul, yoga & pilates was there to help me, to build myself up again. Treacle is where I share that path. Yoga and Pilates, alongside the art of Somatic-theory create the grounds for a consistent and rhythmic routine for you to step into a place where your body feels more adaptable, more capable and more comfortable on a day-to-day basis.
Agency, awareness, choice, curiosity, and humanness are at the heart of my teaching and space holding. My work is grounded in the belief that people deserve to feel supported in developing a respectful, compassionate, and sustainable relationship with their bodies – without pressure to “fix” themselves.
At Treacle Movement, I hold space for people to meet their bodies as they are. Bodies are shaped by unique histories, experiences, and circumstances. No two bodies, emotions, or stories are the same. This is why my work is responsive rather than prescriptive – shaped around the individual rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.
At the same time, we share a common humanity. It is in this shared humanness that I find the depth of embodied work: a place where people can show up honestly, move in ways that are realistic and meaningful, and reconnect with a sense of belonging in their own bodies.
My aim is not to mould bodies into ideal shapes, but to support people in building trust, awareness, and practical movement skills that translate into everyday life – helping them feel more capable, more at ease, and more at home in themselves.
